1 A seed-bearing plant, fished at 20 fathom deep in the North Sea near Drontheim. Send to Baster by Erik Pontoppidan, Bishop of Bergen, also known for his description of griant squids attacking ships and the enourmous sea serpent. Drontheim is an old name for Trondheim in Norway. No resemblace to Gracilaria bursa-pastoris (former Fucus bursa-pastoris).
2 Baster shows how the bristleworm burrows itself with its palps protuding whem placed in a bottle with seawater and sand.
